Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Generals now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne for a Cardinal challenge on Thursday, April 11. Winfield will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Sissonville falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to battle the Tigers in a Cardinal challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Chapmanville Regional lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hoover (Clendenin, WV)
