The South Medford Panthers routed the host South Eugene Axe softball squad by a final score of 7-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado go into the 6A Southwest battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, North Medford held off Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR), 19-1, in a league battle.
The Axe now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Grants Pass for a 6A Southwest battle on Saturday, April 13. South Eugene will confront a Cavemen squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to North Medford (Medford, OR). The Cavemen record now stands at 4-7.
