The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), 13-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bethany Community for a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 22.
With the defeat, Bishop McGuinness drops to 7-11 on the year. The Villains travel to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Monday, April 14. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Leadership Academy lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)
