Rhode Island High School Baseball - Central defeats St. Raphael Academy

April 9, 2025: Providence, RI 02903

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Central Knights (Providence, RI) and the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), saw Central's baseball team gain a win over St. Raphael Academy by a tally of 13-6.

The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers enter the Division 2 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Chariho held off Prout (Wakefield, RI), 8-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Saints face the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 11. St. Raphael Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME).
