In Wednesday's league game, the host Eagan Wildcats baseball team scored a close 1-0 win over the Lakeville North Panthers.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Lightning go into the South Suburban game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Eastview was tipped by Farmington (Farmington, MN), 13-1, in a league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) in a South Suburban game, on Thursday, April 10. Lakeville North will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Sabers go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
