The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), saw Lumpkin County's baseball team get by Fannin County by a margin of 5-4.

The Indians (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights enter the AAA Region 6 battle with a 2-23 record. In their last battle, Johnson was tipped by Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 17-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Rebels face the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 battle, on Thursday, April 10. Fannin County will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 10-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
