The Towns County Indians baseball squad (Hiawassee, GA), was overwhelmed 17-4 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA)
With the triumph, Gilmer moves its record to 12-14 on the season. The Bobcats host Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to confront the Panthers in a AAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 8-16. Ridgeland lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA)
The Indians now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. Towns County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
