In Wednesday's league bout, the St. Charles Pirates (St. Charles, MO) baseball squad edged the visiting Holt Indians (Wentzville, MO), by a tally of 5-4.
Next up, the Pirates encounter the St. Clair Bulldogs (St. Clair, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. St. Charles will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
The Indians (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Wright City (Wright City, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Wright City edged Van-Far (Vandalia, MO), 18-3, in a non-league bout.
