In Wednesday's league bout, the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), by a tally of 17-6.
Next up, the Rangers/Rangerettes encounter the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Mora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Questa (Questa, NM).
The Panthers (2-10) will now prepare for their bout against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 5 bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Questa was overwhelmed by McCurdy (Espanola, NM), 13-3, in a league bout.
