The Rainier Columbians baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates to 5 in the Columbians league win on Wednesday.

The Columbians now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon Christian for a 3A-SD1 Special District 1 test on Friday, April 11. Rainier will play a Hawks team coming off a 8-3 league win over Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Neah-Kah-Nie drops to 1-4 on the year. The Pirates host Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-3. Clatskanie lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR)
