In Wednesday's non-league match, the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) lacrosse team triumphed over the host South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), by a tally of 9-2.

Next up, the Rebels confront the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) in a 2A Area 4 match, on Tuesday, April 22. Effingham County will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Beaufort (Beaufort, SC).
