Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 10-7 in a league game.

With the victory, Pinecrest improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a United 8/All American/Sandhills game on Thursday, April 10. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 3-11. Jack Britt lost 8-1 in their recent league game against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)

The Vikings now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a United 8/All American/Sandhills game on Thursday, April 10. Union Pines will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 18-5 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
