Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), saw Cave Spring's soccer squad triumph over William Byrd by a count of 5-0.

The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots enter the River Ridge battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Patrick Henry was overwhelmed by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Terriers battle the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge battle, on Friday, April 11. William Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Colonels enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).
