Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 5-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Southern Guilford advances its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Storm host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A test on Thursday, April 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 10-3. Rockingham County lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Bison now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dudley for a Mid-State 3A test on Thursday, April 10. High Point Central will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
