North Carolina High School Soccer - Southern Wake Academy toppled by Woods Charter

The Southern Wake Academy Lions soccer team (Holly Springs, NC), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Wednesday's league match with the host Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC)

The Wolves (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Cornerstone Charter was overwhelmed by Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle, on Monday, April 14. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 7-0 league loss to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC).
