The Bishop Moore Hornets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Mount Dora Hurricanes to 4 in the Hornets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Hornets now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montverde Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Bishop Moore will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.
With the defeat, Mount Dora drops to 14-3 on the year. The Hurricanes host Atlantic (Port Orange, FL) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Sharks go into the test with a record of 1-9. Atlantic lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL)
