The Braves now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Scott County for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Grant County will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Dayton drops to 0-2 on the year. The Greendevils host Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to clash with the Thoroughbreds in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Thoroughbreds go into the test with a record of 3-7. Newport Central Catholic lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY)
