California High School Baseball - Loyola defeats St. Francis

In Wednesday's league game, the host Loyola Cubs baseball team scored a close 7-1 victory over the St. Francis Golden Knights.
The Cubs (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Mira Costa nipped Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, St. Francis drops to 2-2 on the year. The Golden knights host Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) to clash with the Trailblazers in a challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Trailblazers go into the challenge with a record of 10-4.
