Virginia High School Softball - Parry McCluer bounces Rockbridge County

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) and the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), observed Parry McCluer's softball team get by Rockbridge County by a tally of 21-17.

The Fighting Blues (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Craig County (New Castle, VA). The Rockets go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Craig County was routed by Bath County (Hot Springs, VA), 19-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Rockbridge County will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
