Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), 7-2 in a league game.

With the victory, Long Reach improves its record to 1-4 on the season.

The Raiders now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howard for a non-league game on Friday, April 11. Atholton will play a Lions team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
