Fans at Wednesday's league test between the Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA) and the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), witnessed Northwood's lacrosse squad gain a win over Portola by a count of 11-9.

The Timberwolves (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Beckman was edged by Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA), 15-10, in a non-league test.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific test, on Monday, April 14. Portola will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record.
