The Alleghany Cougars soccer team (Covington, VA), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league match with the host Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA)
With the triumph, Staunton moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to meet the Green Hornets in a Shenandoah match on Friday, April 11. The Green Hornets come into the match with a record of 2-4. Wilson Memorial won 8-0 in their recent league match against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)
The Cougars now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Radford for a Three Rivers match on Thursday, April 10. Alleghany will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 10-2 league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.
