New Jersey High School Softball - Manchester Township succumbs to Barnegat

In Wednesday's league test, the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ), by a tally of 14-2.

Next, the Bengals clash with the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 11. Barnegat will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 22-0 non-league win over Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ).

The Hawks (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Monmouth Regional was routed by Raritan (Hazlet, NJ), 12-1, in a league test.
