Next, the Golden Gophers play the Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Hueytown will attempt to upgrade on its 20-13 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 6-0 league win over Cullman (Cullman, AL).

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 6A Area 8 challenge with a 17-9 record. In their last challenge, McAdory overcame John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
