The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) and the visiting Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), observed Clay's softball team notch a victory over Southview by a final score of 19-3.

The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bryan (Bryan, OH). The Golden Bears go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Friday, April 11. Southview will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 8-6 league win over Whitmer (Toledo, OH).
