Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS), 8-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Clinton improves its record to 13-11 on the year. The Arrows host Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to play the Golden Wave in a 7A Region 2 game on Thursday, April 10. The Golden Wave enter the game with a record of 8-8.
The Jaguars now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Germantown for a 7A Region 2 game on Tuesday, April 15. Madison Central will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Mavericks record now stands at 16-7.
