The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) softball routed the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 10-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland for a Shoreline - Large outing on Friday, April 11. Coginchaug Regional will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 18-14 non-league win over Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Westbrook moves to 0-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to encounter the Wildcats in a Shoreline - Large outing on Thursday, April 10. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Old Lyme lost 7-4 in their recent league outing against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT)
