The Matoaca Warriors triumphed over the visiting Colonial Heights Colonials softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Matoaca will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.

The Colonials (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA). The Blue Devils enter the Central challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Hopewell was routed by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 18-0, in a league challenge.
