North Carolina High School Softball - Lake Norman Charter bounces Concord

April 9, 2025: Concord, NC 28025

The Lake Norman Charter Knights softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Concord Spiders to 1 in the Knights league win on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A battle on Thursday, April 10. Lake Norman Charter will confront a Trojans team coming off a 7-4 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Concord moves to 8-7 on the season. The Spiders host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to confront the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A battle on Friday, April 11. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 12-2. West Rowan won 19-0 in their recent league battle against Robinson (Concord, NC)
