Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR), 11-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Douglas improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Trojans host Coquille (Coquille, OR) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Far West bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. North Bend will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR).
