The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Father Ryan Irish to 3 in the Mustangs league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christ Presbyterian Academy for a D II-AA Middle battle on Thursday, April 10. Lipscomb Academy will encounter a Lions team coming off a 4-2 league win over Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN). The Lions record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Father Ryan moves to 2-6 on the season. The Irish travel to Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN) to encounter the Knights in a D II-AA Middle battle on Thursday, April 10. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 7-4. Pope John Paul II won 14-4 in their recent league battle against Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN)
