The St. George's Gryphons triumphed over the visiting Harding Academy Lions softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Gryphons meet the First Assembly Christian Crusaders (Cordova, TN) in a D II-A West 6 challenge, on Thursday, April 10. St. George's will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 18-16 league loss to Harding Academy (Memphis, TN).
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS). The Trojans enter the D II-A West 6 challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Northpoint Christian edged Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN), 13-0, in a league match.
