South Carolina High School Softball - Hilton Head Island succumbs to May River

April 9, 2025: Bluffton, SC 2991

In Wednesday's league test, the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Sharks clash with the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 test, on Friday, April 11. May River will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 19-4 league win over Bishop England (Charleston, SC).

The Seahawks (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars go into the AAAA Region 6 test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Colleton County prevailed over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC), 10-0, in a league test.
