North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt bounces Richmond

April 9, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28306

The Jack Britt Buccaneers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Richmond Raiders to 8 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Thursday, April 10. Jack Britt will confront a Colts team coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Colts record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Richmond moves to 6-12 on the season. The Raiders host Lee County (Sanford, NC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle on Thursday, April 10. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Lee County lost 17-5 in their recent non-league battle against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)
