The Versailles Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Cardinals to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warsaw for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Versailles will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 9-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Lakeland (Deepwater, MO) to confront the Vikings in a Class 1 District 7 battle on Thursday, April 10. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 3-4.
