The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) and the visiting Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA), observed South Fayette's softball team get by Montour by a tally of 6-3.

The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians go into the WPIAL 5A 3 bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, West Allegheny tipped Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA), 4-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout, on Friday, April 11. Montour will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 10-1 league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA).
