The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) and the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), observed Patrick County's softball team prevail over Radford by a tally of 15-0.

The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes go into the Three Rivers bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Floyd County knocked off Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a Three Rivers bout, on Friday, April 11. Radford will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 13-10 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).
