The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the South Seneca Falcons (Ovid, NY) and the host Red Jacket Red Jacket (Shortsville, NY), observed South Seneca's softball team prevail over Red Jacket by a tally of 25-8.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Naples (Naples, NY). The Big Green Machines go into the Finger Lakes West bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Naples knocked off Hammondsport (Hammondsport, NY), 14-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Red Jacket clash with the Honeoye Bulldogs (Honeoye, NY) in a Finger Lakes West bout, on Monday, April 21. Red Jacket will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 17-5 non-league loss to Livonia (Livonia, NY).
