The Ste. Genevieve Dragons softball squad (Ste. Genevieve, MO), was edged 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO)

With the triumph, West County improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Kingston (Cadet, MO) to face the Cougars in a Class 2 District 3 contest on Thursday, April 10. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 1-6. Kingston lost 23-22 in their recent non-league test against Arcadia Valley (Ironton, MO)

The Dragons (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Meadow Heights (Patton, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record.
