In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Columbus Titans baseball team scored a close 12-9 win over the Cherryvale Chargers.
The Titans (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Galena by St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS), 10-2, in a league game.
Next, the Chargers play the Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS) in a Tri-Valley game, on Tuesday, April 14. Cherryvale will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
