The Dimmitt Bobcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Idalou Wildcats to 2 in the Bobcats league win on Thursday.

The Bobcats now hold a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Muleshoe for a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 14. Dimmitt will play a Mules team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Mules record now stands at 8-12.

With the defeat, Idalou drops to 10-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 14. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 24-2. Shallowater won 22-0 in their recent league test against Friona (Friona, TX)
