Michigan High School Softball - Troy bounces Avondale

April 9, 2026: Troy, MI 48098

In Thursday's league match, the host Troy Colts softball team scored a nice 20-1 win over the Avondale Yellowjackets.

The Colts (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Clawson (Clawson, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Clawson was routed by Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI), 5-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 13. Avondale will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Regina (Warren, MI).
