Mississippi High School Softball - Walnut bounces Baldwyn

The Walnut Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Baldwyn Bearcats to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thrasher for a non-league battle on Monday, April 13. Walnut will confront a Rebels team coming off a 15-7 league win over Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Baldwyn moves to 4-14 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Smithville (Smithville, MS) to confront the Seminoles in a non-league battle on Monday, April 13. The Seminoles come into the battle with a record of 15-5. Smithville won 20-0 in their recent league battle against Tremont (Tremont, MS)
