Michigan High School Softball - Fenton edged by Owosso

Owosso Trojans (Owosso, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fenton Tigers (Fenton, MI), 7-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Owosso improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Trojans host Lake Fenton (Linden, MI) to face the Blue Devils in a Flint Metro game on Monday, April 13. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 2-0. Lake Fenton won 16-0 in their recent league game against Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI)

The Tigers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Brighton for a non-league game on Friday, April 10. Fenton will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-8 league win over Howell (Howell, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
