The Florence Falcons softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Waterloo Cougars to 4 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Clemens for a 7A Area 8 battle on Tuesday, April 14. Florence will confront a Jets team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Jets record now stands at 18-17.

With the loss, Waterloo moves to 9-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Belgreen (Russellville, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, April 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 14-10. Belgreen lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL)
