The Valencia Jaguars softball team scored 25 runs and held the host Highland Hornets to 2 in the Jaguars league win on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belen for a 4A District 5 battle on Tuesday, April 14. Valencia will confront a Eagles team coming off a 13-0 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Highland moves to 1-14 on the season. The Hornets host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Friday, April 10. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 3-13. Hope Christian lost 16-1 in their recent league battle against Valley (Albuquerque, NM)
