Maryland High School Softball - Whitman bounces Springbrook

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Whitman Vikings softball team scored a nice 21-4 win over the Springbrook Blue Devils.
The Vikings (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots come into the Montgomery County 4A - West match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Wootton notched a victory over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 7-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 11. Springbrook will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 7-0 record after their 6-5 league win over Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD).
