The Seymour Wildcats baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Ansonia Chargers to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Derby (Derby, CT). The Red Raiders go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Derby edged Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 8-2, in a non-league match.
The Chargers (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines come into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Oxford by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 7-2, in a league challenge.
