The Washington County Panthers baseball team (Plymouth, NC), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Monday's league outing with the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC)
The Falcons now hold a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside-Martin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 2. Bertie will confront a Knights team coming off a 14-3 league win over Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Knights record now stands at 12-8.
Next, the Panthers confront the Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A outing, on Friday, May 5. Washington County will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 2-12 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC).
