Rhode Island High School Baseball - Central loses to Ponaganset

The Ponaganset Chieftains baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Central Knights to 5 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Monday.
The Chieftains now possess a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, May 3. Ponaganset will face a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Knights face the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a Division 1 (State) bout, on Tuesday, May 2. Central will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 3-7 record after their 5-2 league win over Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
